Share your checklist of things to do before LO

I'm thinking there's lots of little things I'm forgetting I should do (for instance, I still haven't sterilized bottles/pacifiers/ etc or wiped down the car seat and stroller that have been sitting out for months or hand washed teethers/small toys.)

Please share your lists of everything you've been doing/still need to do around the house!

Re-organize LO's clothes, add a few things to the hospital bag and install the car seat when DH gets home.

I just need to put in the carseat and pack my hospital bag.  I have washed a few things, but I'm not going nuts until after we're home with him so I can exchange anything I don't really need.

-Buy a few odds and ends at Target

-Install Carseat 

-Finish up some thank yous

-Clean house

-Hang some last minute decor in the nursery

 - Get the carseat out of the crawl space, clean and install

 - Sanitze breast pump parts

 - Run to Target for pads, nipple cream, breast pads, and all the fun items needed after birth b/c I'm almost positive DH would have a heart attack if he had to go pick that up!

- Pack hospital bags

 - Get a big sister gift for DD

 - Print address labels for announcements

 - Set up crib (not a huge rush as LO will be in the PNP in our room for a little while)

I'm sure there are many more things that I'm not thinking of.  Ugh, looks like we have a lot to do yet!  Oh well, we still have 5 weeks (I think!)

 

EDIT:  Just thought of more - get my hair highlighted and clean our bottles.

Make it to tomorrow still pregnant. lol. Seriously, though I've been on bed rest for PTL and we've been aiming for 35/36 weeks. 

And if I make it to 36 weeks, I'll get to get off of bed rest and the first thing on my list is to make freezer meals. I'm also going to play with my son like crazy since I haven't been able to in about a month and I want to get some good playing in with him before we add a little sister to the mix

-get a coming home outfit for LO

-buy a video camera

-buy a moniter

-finish my report cards this week just in case i go early!

-sterilize breast pump and wait for replacment parts to come in

I have a decent amount of time left so my list is still long...

-have baby shower (next week) to see what we get/what we need

--purchase whatever else we need

-organize & wash all clothes, bottles, paci's etc.

-clean out kitchen cabinet to make room for LOs bottles pacis formula etc.

- finsih nursery (carpet comes next week, put together furniture, etc)

- go to baby class and take hospital tour (happening in next 2 wks)

-install carseats & put together stroller

- pack hospital bag

- figure out how to use video camera that I bought in Feb

- Put away LO's clothes

- Vacuum the carpets

- Put our bed frame together (we moved not too long ago)

- Have alone time with DH. His work schedule is insane and we don't see each other much anymore.

Getting induced this Friday...

- Finish hospital bag

- Get H to do his bag

- Clean house top to bottom (this is all H since I'm on bed rest.  I wanted to bring in my sister's housekeeper but he doesn't so.....it's all him).

That's it!
