who hasn't agonized over the decision and does't really have a specific outfit picked out for coming home?

I just went to the closet, grabbed a nb sized and a 0-3 sized outfit and put them in the bag, becasue I wasn't sure which size. 

i don't really understand the need for drama over it.  I like all of the clothes LO has, and think he will look cute in all of them, so to me it doesn't really matter.

I didn't really think about it much. I found a really cute outfit right away, so I've not worried about it for months.

no, i just have a cute NB sleeper that my mom gave us for christmas that we are going to use as his going home outfit.

Nope.  I figure practical is more important that cute, so I'm just packing a comfy looking sleeper.

Not stressing here! We are Team Green so DH wants to go out after the baby is born and pick out an outfit for LO all by himself (which we will probably bring him/her home in).

He is sooooooo excited about this! Too cute! His first "daddy errand"!

At my shower, mom gave me the dress I came home in 36 years ago so we're taking that as choice one.  If it doesn't fit, we picked out a new dress for her as a backup.

I have a NB gerber onesie with ducks and some socks in the bag. And a blanket. I figure I'll throw a 0-3 size one in there for good measure.

I have been thinking about getting something cute, but I simply don't want to buy any more NB outfits.

I did the same thing...people keep asking me if I have his going home outfit and what it is. I just tell them its just a onesie or footed sleeper that I think is cute...I'm with you, I like all of my baby clothes!

we picked a nb size outfit that we could put a long sleeve onsie under not knowing what the weather will do (it was 90 in april, snowed mothers day, was 70 2 days later now were back to the 20's at night)

My mother wanted to buy his comming home outfit, so i let her.. we went together but it wasnt that big of deal to me. I just want him to be confortable!!!

I haven't even given it much thought. To be honest I don't really remember what all we have. I'll probably pick something out when I decide to wash all his clothes.

My grandma gave me a cute NB outfit at one of my showers, and I just said "well, that will be his coming home outfit". No stressing here.

you're not alone. i figured we will be the only ones seeing her as we leave the hospital, and most likely she'll be in a blanket anyway, so what difference does it make? like you said, i like all the clothes she has, so she'll look cute no matter what.

I haven't given it much thought either.  I'll just bring an outfit in each size NB and 0-3 size.

I don't get it either.  I have cute outfits but, really I don't understand agonizing over the decision.  I have several things that will work and any of them will be perfect.  Deciding on the perfect shade of pink/blue really boggles my mind.

DS#2 is getting a ton of hand-me-downs, so I did go out and purchase a new outfit for him so he'd have something new :-)  It was all of one shopping trip to one store and took me maybe 10 minutes at the most :-)  I just picked something that looked cute.

I packed a few sleepers for sizing, and a couple of outfits for sizing. We have no clue how big he will be, so its nice to have a few options, and it doesnt really take up all that much room.
