ntr: What's your "go-to" salad recipe to take/make for a dinner party?

I'm going to a dinner party tonight and have been asked for bring a salad.  Problem is, I have made all my "go-to" salad recipes for this group and I refuse to take something I've already made. It's a "wild game" dinner- they're grilling a bunch of deer meat. I was going to make this walnut, feta, and green bean salad (served cold) but I can't find my recipe

baby spinach, red onion, strawberries, pecans, blue cheese crumbles, rasberry vinagrette

I love pasta salad...

 

boil tri-color rotini pasta

mix together a bottle of italian dressing with a packet of hidden valley ranch mix

 mix in any veggies - broccolli, cauliflower, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, carrots, tomatoes, etc.andpepperoni

mix together and let sit in the fridge.

it's my favorite and super easy!

I do the green bean/feta thing like this:

sautee the green beans in EVOO and garlic. While the skillet is still warm, I add in a handful of feta and walnuts. Toss w/ some italian seasoning and chill. Yum.

This one is good!  I doctor up the dressing a little more than what is listed here, but what is listed is good too.
