need some casual dinner ideas

We are having neighbors over tonight. So far we have

hot taco dip

sausage puffs

shrimp appetizer

salad

calzones

fruit

dessert

I need to get something else that is more main course than an appetizers. Any ideas?

I'd do some sort of pasta....lasagna, spaghetti, etc.  I've even seen some recipes for a crock pot lasagna that would be easy to keep warm. 

Are your calzones appettizer size or main course?  You could make them main course and forget another dish. then add garlic bread or cheese breadsticks.

MH is the same.  He would have said popcorn chicken or grilled cheese.

Before I read the rest of your post, I was thinking tacos, but then saw your hot taco dip (sounds amazing!). I still think you should do tacos as a main course. You can have all the other appetizers, but then just set up a taco bar and let everyone make their own:)
