Anyone without a DH this weekend?

DH is gone again this weekend and I'm having a very hard time coping today. I called my mother to see if she wanted to go to a fair with DS and I, but she has plans. All of my other friends do things with their families on weekends. I feel so lonely. What do you do on weekends without your DH?

Well, not the whole weekend- but he works today and will be helping his dad repair his car later tonight- so I won't see him until late. I HATE that he has to work on saturdays.

yes, my DH is working double shifts all weekend.  We will be lucky to see him for 1/2 hr each day.  I also am very lonely and worn out.  He has been working doubles on and off for 2 wks so I have had NO break.  I try to rest when she naps and go to bed when she does but that doesn't always work.  Somehow I have to due all the housework and yardwork too.  Sorry I really don't have any suggestions just thought I would add I am in the same boat.  Gl and hope your weekend goes by quickly.

I am not being snarky at all, but I have gone up to a year without my DH.

You can do ANYTHING you would do if he were home and ANYTHING ELSE you WANT!

I pretty much am.  DH works 9am-10pm both today and tomorrow and does so every 3rd weekend.  The kids and I have a birthday party tomorrow so today I didn't plan anything because I know I will need to relax since tomorrow will be taxing by myself.

On these long weekends I have been planning friend time.  I have actually called my friend in advance and scheduled time with them so I knew I had some company.  Sad but true.

Yep.  DH is gone most weekends.  He has been working on our trucks for a couple of months now and he's rarely home.  It sucks.  I have been taking care of the yard work-our lawn is *huge*-and waiting on things that I need him to do (no matter how hard I try, I do NOT know how to build a shed, lol).

I have just gotten use to him not being around as much.

yup, DH is gone for the whole month, So I'm alone. and it sucks.. only two more weeks left until hubby is home.. ugh.
