We weren't necessarily trying but weren't trying to prevent a pregnancy either. I stopped tasking "the pill" in October, we conceived in November.

We went off BC at the end of June, got married on August 22nd and got BFP on Sept. 9th. Definitely didn't expect it to happen that soon...

I was on Nuvaring, stopped using it.  Had my first period off of birth control right on schedule and started sort of trying (we weren't charting or anything, just seeing what happened) as soon as that period was over.  I got pregnant within 2 weeks--so first month trying, first/second month off of birth control.

We weren't trying and I was on birth control. LO was definitely a very big surprise.

We started to TTC around Feb 09. Had an ecotpic pregnancy in July 09 (which I swear was due to the one Clomid cycle we did). We then found out about this pregnancy on Oct 6th and are soooo excited.

Not long really considering I was 37 at the time and DH was 36. He apparently had boy issues with morphology which I simply can't believe considering we got pregnantn twice in the one year.

I think for our age the Dr. said a year or two is normal timing.

Wow, I'm really surprised at how quickly it happened for some of you.

It took us 10 months, but honestly 2-3 months out of those I either had the flu, UTI with antibiotics etc.  but it was getting really frustrating.

DH and I both come from very large families ( i am from 6 and he is from 8), and my mom had me at the age of 42 so I really wasn't too worried about my fertility.  DH and I were married Sept 08, I went off the pill in May 09 because I just didn't want to put meds in my body anymore (i find it affects my mood).  I even went and purchased condoms so that DH didn't think that I was trying to pressure him into trying for a baby (we wanted to wait another year).  But I also knew that it might take that long because we are both in our mid 30's.  So I figured whatever happens happens... In August, we had unprotected sex several times during my most fertile time and I was concerned I could be pregnant- but nothing.  In September we had sex only once on DH's birthday (also a full moon) and concieved. 

This whole thing made me realize how incredibly random conception is...

After 2 clomid cycles, 3 Iui's and 2 Ivf's, We conceived after 3 years..We have been through so much but I know when she arrives, it will be worth it!

We are so blessed and got pregnant right away on the first try.  My menstrual cycle is pretty spot on and I knew which days I should be ovulating.  Our guesstimate worked!  Our official BFP was when I was 3.5 weeks along (give or take a day).  I took about 5 pg tests for absolute confirmation.

We had a m/c with our 1st and then 3 months later pg c/ DD and then 5 months after DD born pg with DS and now pg c/ this one.  We like the surprises!

We were extremely lucky and got pg the first cycle trying for each of our DCs.

I wasn't trying but I wasn't preventing it either! I was told that I could'nt have kids. But my BD is very fertile he has 6 kids now(including mine) so im guessing thats why im pregnant. lol But me & him started messing around in july & got pregnant in sept. After my mom had a dream that i got pregnant by him too. Crazy but a Doctor had told me i couldnt have babies so i thought she was just crazy!

Had been actively trying for 5 months. I got tired of using opk's and charting, so we decided to stop all that crap and just let nature take it's course. Got pregnant that month. We only had sex once in the week near my ovulation date...and I didn't even wanna have sex then. It's funny how many people say they got pregnant once they stopped trying.

We weren't trying and didn't intend to have kids so soon. We wanted to have sometime to urselves first as a couple. But suprise suprise....we got pg and are now awaiting the birth of our little boy.
