EF Mulch ?

So... My veggie garden needs mulch.  Do I worry about where it comes from?  Is there such a thing as organic mulch?  I have cypress mulch from Lowe's - it says it's safe, natural and eco-friendly... Would it say on the bag if it were treated w/ any chemicals?  Should I be concerned about where the wood came from?

I've seen organic mulch at Lowes. Dunno how important it is unless you're growing veggies/etc.
