Can you refreeze pork chops? I took them out yesterday and want to cook them tomorrow, can I leave them in the fridge just one more day? Or should I/can I re freeze them? I heard your not supposed to do this with pork? TIA
However, if you're going to cook them tomorrow I'd leave them in the fridge. I'd only re-freeze if you weren't going to be able to use them for a few days.
My husband is a butcher and sometimes I run across the same problem where I that something meaning to use it then something happens and I don't. He tells me that the problem with refreezing is an issue of freezer burn more than anything. A sure fire way to avoid freezer burn is to make sure absolutely no air is touching the meat. I've done it that way before with various things and they've always been fine.

Re: Re freeze question
As long as the food has been properly refrigerated, you can re-freeze it.
The issue with re-freezing is about taste, not about food safety. Food that has been frozen, thawed, and re-frozen may lose a bit in taste quality.
