Withdrawl Symptoms from Zoloft...

Has anyone come off of Zoloft? 

I stopped 3 days ago and now i'm having shock brain zaps and shortness of breath.  I feel like crap, and my doctor is on maternity leave.

Is this normal? How long do withdrawl symptoms last?

    I weaned off it over the course of a few weeks and didn't have problems. Did you stop cold turkey or come off gradually?

    You should always wean off of drugs like this. Stopping cold turkey causes symptoms just like you described (brain zaps, flu-like symptoms, etc).

    I weaned off VERY slowly... a week or 2 at one dose down, half a pill for a couple weeks, then every other day... I didn't have any problems.
    DD #1 born @ 38 weeks 11/1/10
    BFP #2 Jan 2013 - MMC found at 11 wks, measured 8w2d.
