experiences with zoloft?

My OB is prescribing me zoloft and just wanted to know what your experience is on this? How long did it take for you to feel better? Have you gained weight on this?? Thanks ladies!

    I felt better almost immediatly!

    I did gain weight, maybe 5lbs, but i'm a small girl (normally 105 lbs), so it did make a difference on me. 

    That's my only complaint about it though!

    I didn't gain weight. I felt better in about two weeks. No side effects.

    I have been on Zoloft (the generic) for 1.5 weeks.  I felt better almost immediately.  I had a hard time sleeping the first few days--but that seemed to resolve itself.  I haven't gained any weight yet (crosses fingers) though I'm sure it's too soon to tell.  I wish I would have taken it sooner!  I feel much more calm & level headed.  It's been amazing!!
