Our stories are kind of the same. But my question for you is did they check your HCG levels? I keep see this on the board but they never did that to me so I was wondering why? Do you know?

Hey - I know I'm definitely not lrachelle, but I just might know the answer to your question... I hope you don't mind me butting in, haha. Anyway, I just wanted to say that if you go into labor/are put into labor as opposed to a natural mc, d&c or d&e, they usually don't check HCG levels. I have no idea why that is though..
Sorry, I'm butting in as well. I am no where even near the same boat you're in you, so you can take this for it's worth (I'm basing it on having given birth previously).
When you actually go through the delivery process, you not only deliver the baby, but you also deliver the placenta and most of the blood/tissue is pushed out as well.
Early in pregnancy, much of that stuff isn't completely formed so it's not so easily removed. Pieces of placental tissue and sac and all that jazz can remain in the body much longer. They track hCG levels to be sure that all that stuff finds it's way out of your body.
Not sure if that makes sense, but that'd be my *guess*. I'm certainly no expert, so take this with a grain of salt...
