Lump after menopur injection ?

After my injection tonight a hard lump developed probably about the size of my fingertip. In my year plus of injections this has never happened! I think it's going down since I did it (about an hour and 15 min ago), and I think a bruise might be forming, but I don't see anything much when I look at it. Is this normal to have happen? I hope the meds are absorbing, and that I didn't cause any major damage to my body or anything!

Re: Lump after menopur injection ?

  • I hope the meds are just taking a while being absorbed!  I did Menopur (intramuscular) and didn't get a lump, but I did get a reaction when I used (subcutaneous) Repronex: lumps and blotches. They did go away after a while, but it usually took hours or even a full day.

     Hope that helps!
