PIP: my girls' handprint butterfly planters

Thought they turned out cute and wanted to share :) We gave them to my mom and grandmother for Mother's Day and they loved them. As you can see my 3 yr old's handprints were much more defined than my 18mo old's but her little finger squiggles still got the point across :) I did 1 hand on each side of the planter...

  • those turned out so cute!
  • OMG they are super cute! You need to share these ideas before Mother's Day so we could all steal them:) Did you free hand the Happy Mother's Day or use stencils? I think I want one of these for myself!
  • Thanks girls! Yes, Heidi I free handed the Mother's Day text. I used paint markers for the text and acrylic non-toxic for the handprints for the girls. I wish I had them done WAY before last weekend to share but it was a last minute project (as always!) :)
