I picked at home, and I felt it like a pop, but nothing came out until Luke came. Soaked the doc, ha!
It broke at home while I was talking to a friend on the phone. I'd had no other labor signs at all. No contrax, no passing of the MP, etc. I was like, "Eh, I think my water just broke. I'll have to let you go." I was 38w6d.
With DD1 it was broken at the hospital to try and get labor moving along.. I stalled out but I was already 6 days late and due to be induced the next day anyway.
DD2 it was broken for me after I was induced..probably 3-4 hours into the pitocin drip.
BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09.
TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.

LO #2 - TTC 7 months, surprise spontaneous BFP!
My water broke at the end of my yoga class (8pm), but only a little bit leaked, so I thought I just peed a little. But it kept doing it just a little at a time, so when I got home I called my doula (9pm), who also thought it was just urine. But she said to go to bed and if I woke up and was soaked, it was my water.
I woke up at midnight, soaked, and was pretty sure it was my water, but no contractions, so I decided I was going back to bed that I'd go to the hospital in the morning if nothing else happened. An hour later I woke up with light cramp-like feeling and woke DH up. We called the oncall nurse who told us to go to the hospital. I decided I wanted a shower first, and then we got to the hospital around 2:30am.
DD was born at 8am.
I got up in the middle of the night for my usual trip to the bathroom and all of the sudden I felt like I should rush to the toilet! I sat and fluid gushed out, but I hadn't 'gone' yet. I woke MH up and told him that I thought my water broke and he asked why I thought that. I said because stuff came out and it wasn't pee!
I don't think he believed me until the hospital confirmed it!
Haha...well my husband told me to go get a new water when I told him mine broke. He was in Iraq so I told him on messenger when he was doing homework and super busy (an hour after we got done talking for the night). He didn't even think...DUH, not a glass of water-water as in the baby is coming lol.
Mom, why are you washing my feed in the sink?!
