I just realized I don't think I have any pictures of me holding M in the hospital.

backstory: I had an emergency c-section. My arms were tied down so I couldn't hold her after she was born. Then in the recovery room I was shaking a lot so I didn't really get to hold her (they laid her on my arm so I could say I "held" her before everyone else). & for the few days I was in the hospital they had me on Morphine & Percocet so I was pretty drugged up.

I never even thought to have someone get a pic of me holding her.  

I hope I can find someone that got a pic that I'm not remembering.

Don't feel bad.  I only have one pic of me holding him, and it's a terrible one at that. 

I had an unplanned C/S and I couldn't feel anything below my neck in recovery, so they didn't let me hold him.  Although they did lay him on my chest.  When I was transferred from recovery to my postpartum room, my MIL got a picture of me holding the baby, thank goodness!  If she didn't do that there wouldn't be one. 

If I could go back, I would have had DH take more pictures while we were in the hospital.  I am usually the photographer and I was pretty much out of commission   There are almost no pictures from the 60 hours between when Logan was born and we were discharged.

We are the same. We don't have any pictures from her first day of life because my husband messed up my camera. It sucks and I know nobody else had brought a camera.
