How can I prep one bamboo diaper?

I have one Bella Bottoms fitted bamboo diaper - does anyone know the best way to prep this? Washing and drying it by itself seems pretty wasteful, but I'm not sure if I can boil it because the snaps are plastic.

You can boil it, but I don't recommend it. The snaps are polyresin so they'll be fine, but it's hell on elastic.

I recommend washing it with your clothes, anything that you don't need to be absorbent. So jeans, sheets, t-shirts, etc but not towels. 

ETA: Bamboo also doesn't need as much prepping as hemp or cotton because of the processing it's already been through to turn it into fabric.
