What is the placement date?

I realize this may be a stupid question, but what is considered the placement date?  The date we received BM's consent?  Thanks.

    The day the baby was placed in your custody -- if consent was signed prior to birth, it would be the baby's birthdate.  If consent was signed after birth, it would be that day.
