Birthing Classes in metro

I'm looking for a birthing class offered in the metro area.

I'm not needing a class that is 'hard core' natural, just one that will teach relaxation/natural techniques.

Anyone know of any good ones??

(Our L&D department doesn't offer one on dates that will work for DH and I)

thanks in advance!

  • Not sure where you are located, we took ours at St. Francis in Shakopee and loved it.

  • The Fairview systems offers a lot too. We took the express class at Southdale and enjoyed it.

  • I think Blooma has a few workshops once in a while. I'd check their site.

  • Blooma does have classes (in St. Paul and Edina) - www.blooma.com

Also, Amma Maternity in Edina has some classes - www.ammamaternity.com

I haven't started a childbirth class at either place yet, but I've been taking yoga at Bloom and had a great experience so far!

  • We went to our first class at Amma in Edina this week and had a really good experience.  It's a nice facility and the instructors were very knowledgable.  Worth checking out.
