I saw you wound up getting 3 eggs transferred. So did you have any to freeze? Seems like you had so many good eggs, wondering what the outcome for the other guys.
My RE told me based on my age (39) he doubts I will have any to freeze. So, I was just curious.
Re: Hey, Dee!
As usual, I am probably giving you more info than you wanted. I was 39.95 years old when I did IVF #1 and I had 19 eggs/ 10 fertilized and only three to transfer. None to freeze
This time I tried to really not stress over it. This time I am 40.25! LOL! I lost about 5 lbs from the last IVF and walked about three times a week. I think it really helped me more mentally than physically. I am an obnoxious planner and realized after the first time, you can't plan. I had 16 eggs this time and 13 fertilized. The quality was much better. No idea how but my doctor says sometimes you can just have a bad batch. We transferred 3, I had two more yesterday that were freezable and three more they were watching but Dr said he didn't think those three would be freezable. I won't know for sure until Thursday so I will keep you posted. Dee
My other reason for inquiring was that I just reached my IF max for meds through my insurance. I don't expect we will do another treatment. I went for my first u/s b/w since i started my meds yesterday and I had six follicles. Tech said I had plenty more time to start growing more.
I think you've done well each time. I hope to have that much luck, and of course, with a BFP for both of us!
Thanks! I think it's an hour or so away.
