Adult birthday party invite question

What is a polite way of saying adults only? This is for DH's 40th Birthday party. It is at night but I don't want there to be any questions. Thanks!

Re: Adult birthday party invite question

  • I have no idea. When I had DH's golden birthday last summer I put on the bottom of the invites "kids welcome", some of our friends brought kids, some didn't, but our kids were here, so I figured our friends may as well bring theirs too. Not sure how to say adults only.
  • "adults only."

"Leave the kids with a sitter and get ready to have a good time."

"Get a sitter, put the kids to bed and come on over."

  • Loading the player...
  • Our DS will be gone and to put it nicely some of our friends kids can destroy (literally destroy) a house under 2 minutes.
  • I am now trying to decide if I should invite coworkers.
  • "adults only"
