M/S and teaching :(

So i've hit 9 weeks and my m/s is at a new high. This morning I've been puking and nauseous. Made it to school but threw up three times in the classroom so I'll be leaving at 11:30 and going home. The bad part is the school year is almost over and I have so much to do!

 Any other teachers that can sympathize?

Totally and recovering from a sub makes you wanna barf more, right!? I hope you feel better. Crackers + ginger ale at all times. Hugs.

i dont teach anymore im a SAHM but i can def. relate to the sickness...mine is so bad.  Hope you feel better soon!!

Teach at university...which is very different I'm sure, but I always bring food and ginger ale to class with me. If things get a little too much, I take a break and get a snack and some fresh air, then back to the classroom. It seems once I get into the rhythm of a lecture, it kind of calms down a bit. I'm lucky because I have a very small contract. However, I just got hired at a new school for September and I have to supply there tomorrow and Wednesday and I'm worried that it is going to kick in and I'm going to be sick. At least at my old school I know who to turn to in order to escape my classroom for a bit ,but I don't know any of the routines and stuff at my new school. I haven't even told my new principal that I'm pregnant yet and that I'll only be teaching for 4 months before I go on maternity leave! Hopefully she'll be happy!

I understand.  I thought I was done w/ m/s, until I got sick this morning.  I've only thrown up once before today, so I had to track down other teachers in my department who could cover for me for the rest of the day.  Now I'm lounging on the couch, hungry and afraid to eat. 

It'll get better, but be prepared for a relapse at any point.  Boo today!

I'm so fearful of this! I have had tiny bouts of nausea, but nothing major, and no puking.  Yet. But I'm 6w3d, so I know it can hit at any moment.  It isn't like we have regular desk jobs and can be sick in the privacy of our cubicle!!!

I teach HS and my nightmare is throwing up in the classroom.  I was up all night throwing up, and did call off today.  I just couldn't drag myself in this morning after being up all night.
