and I have been such a whiner the last few weeks because of no progress at doctor's appointments I have decided to focus on the positive. I know I will be induced next week and have come to terms with it. The things that I am grateful for this pregnancy.
1. that after 10 years of TTC, we are pregnant with no chemical intervention
2. that except for some nausea/vomiting during first tri and some feet swelling and pelvic pain this past month, I have been symptom free
3. Except for a high AFP that looks like it was a false positive, the pregnancy has been problem free
4. My husband has been great the entire prenancy
5. My friends are very supportive and as excited (or more so) than we are.
6. My family is very excited.
7. I have plenty of sick leave to cover my FML with tons to spair
8. My boss has been very supportive and has given me all kids of gently used hand me downs from her 15 month year old
9. the nursery is ready
10. I found the bump which has given me all kinds of good information.
thanks for the time and space.
Re: Today is my due date and what I am grateful for.
definitely sounds like you've had a lot of wonderful things going on and a great support system. hang tight - your little bundle will be here within days, whether you pop on your own or get induced. I was 3 days late with my first and after I had her i realized it really didn't matter whether she was early or late - the exhaustion of caring for a newborn was still the same. good luck!
So happy to hear you are close to your miracle and it's very cool you are team Green.
Hope you have an easy labor and delivery.
Good Luck and can't wait for the update.
