Do you usually tip the person who bakes/decorates your birthday cakes for you, and if so how much?

We are getting ready to pick up our babys 1st bday cake and when the same lady made our sons 5th Birthday cake in February, DH didn't think I tipped enough, so I wanted to see what you thought.

Eek. I don't.  I'd never tip a random worker in the bakery, and pay quite a bit more for a better one someone makes in their home kitchen (without overhead), so I guess I never thought about it.  I just assume they are charging appropriately for their time.

I didn't know that was something you tipped for. I think we're going to order ours from the local grocery store bakery.
