How light it light?

So it's been 7 weeks since we lost the girls.  Still no AF, tested negative for HCG this week and the doctor said I had stopped bleeding at my check up appointment at 4 weeks pp.  The doc has told me that my first AF would be really abnormal i.e. heavy/ light bleeding.  I haven't had any huge symptoms of AF (no boob tenderness, but some slight cramping) BUT I think I'm bleeding.  It's very light and inconsistent.  I'm still wearing pantyliners and they do get soiled but not always.  Is that weird?  Is this my "abnormal" AF?  Has anyone experienced a light AF pp?  All I've heard are people getting really heavy periods.

thanks irachelle.  that's actually really informative about the abnormal cycle situation.  none of my docs told me that.   i've been temping but i really have no idea what it all means.  i guess i won't until i get AF.
