Thanks for posting this!! I've been waiting to see what happened this year with our pick for LO's name (Mason) because everyone keeps talking about how popular its become....interestingly it only went up 1 spot so it can't be gaining too quick :-)

If I have a boy this time then he will be 25 and if it is a girl she will 659.

I'm a little surprised that our girl name (Addison) isn't in the top 10.  It's close though at #12.  Our other girl name (Kristin) isn't even listed under 2009.  It's listed at #886 for 2008 though!

Our boy name (Colin) is #112.

I'm amazed at how many names that used to be "odd" 20 years ago are so high up on the chart. like Zoe/Zoey for girls....

My pick for my girl doesn't show up for girls but does for boys!!!!!

Genevieve will NEVER be a popular name.  I've only met a handful with my same in in my 30 years of exsistance.  

 

The boy name I wanted was #1.  Who knew?

Did anyone else notice #18 are James and Lily? (Harry Potter's parents for those that don't know!)

grrrrr - i was happy when I picked Brooklyn that it was around 50 but now its up to #37! I like the less popular names. Our boys name is #500 or so and Kalina isnt even on the list!
