Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

And I'm spent..

I am so exhausted.  I have officially been back at work full time for 2 weeks now.  I am up every 2-3 hours every night.  Yes my husband helps, but regardless, you hear the baby cry everytime, so my sleep is very interrupted.  I don't see her getting any closer to sttn.  I can barely keep my eyes open today and my productivity is a joke.

I don't know what to do.  I can't keep sitting here all day in a zombie like state and expect to continue getting paid for it.  How can I get myself motivated to do some work.  I guess step one would be to log off the bump, right?

Re: And I'm spent..

  • Headphones and 80's dance music help me sometimes.  And I occasionally delete my bookmarks for all non-work websites to make it harder to take bump breaks.  You can always find them again on google later.

  • Time to put down the carb-laden food which will put you in a coma later anyway and take a little break.  Get up and walk a few laps around the office or go outside and walk for 10-15 minutes.  You'll get some much needed sunlight and help perk up your adrenaline ;)

  • The fact that you are even at work and functioning makes you my hero. I don't know how you do it!!!!

Or walk up and down the stairs a few times.

Ugh - I haven't seen a carb in over two weeks.  I am on a crazy strict diet.  I have 3 pregnacies worth of fat to lose.  Crying

But yes, a brisk walk may help.

Thanks AB - sometimes it really does all feel like too much, but I am getting by.

Not the bookmarks - Nooooooo!!!  I'd die.  Okay, seriously, this is a good suggestions.  Lately it feels more like I come to work to bump and then take the occasional work break.
