I am pretty sure I am 6 weeks and have a HCG level of 6222... The nurse didnt really indicate either way if this was good or bad and I was just wondering what other women were experiencing?!
Mine at 6wk2d was 54,000 and at 6wk4d was 74,000. The number isn't as important as that they are doubling. Although your numbers look like the 5 week range to me, but they can vary.
I think my obgyn is lying to me. I went in last week to see if the levels were doubling. The results should have been back but the office says they are not in yet. I feel they don't want to share the bad news with me to ruin my Christmas. I overheard them saying the same thing about another woman when I went in last week. Anyway my level at 5w 6 days is 16,899. Guess I'll have to wait till after Christmas.

Um, I think you are over reacting. Sometimes, especially around the holidays, stuff is delayed. It really could be that the results aren't in yet. It's not some personal thing against you.
Mine were 9000 at 6w0d and they actually told me they thought I might be farther along b/c that was high for 6 weeks...although compared to everyone else's numbers, it doesn't seem like they were right.
Either way I am 9w3d today and just got back from my 3rd healthy u/s. Try not to fret...everything is probably fine.

Ugh. They should not tell you numbers are high for a certain time period. It just doesn't really work like that. Mine was over 78,000 on 6w0d, same day as you. The numbers can vary a lot.

We since had two ultrasounds & on 12/19, our RE released us to the OB. On 1/02/14, we had our first ultrasound with the OB where we heard the heartbeat. We are so thankful for the blessing & crossing every finger & toe for a healthy & successful pregnancy.

At 5w3d mine were 2,995 and my progesterone was 49. While the hcg seemed low, so far so good in the pregnancy and my doc felt it was spot on.
