I used to use Bisquick, but then I saw that one of the ingredients is HFCS. Blah.
Since then, I found a recipe on allrecipes.com that tastes better and only takes about five minutes longer to mix than the Bisquick with ingredients I always have on hand...
I make them from mix but DD wants them from scratch. She stayed at her aunt's house and told her that her pancakes from scratch were "sooo sooo yummy". She even made them Mickey Mouse shaped...show off.

From scratch. But I'm lazy and make a big batch, then freeze them so DD can eat them whenever she wants (which is pretty much every day).
My absolute favorite recipe is Bakerella's cornmeal blueberry pancakes (I think it's originally a Martha Stewart recipe). It's good w/o blueberries, too.

That's my new fav, too! Instead of blueberries, I used chopped bananas and they are literally the best I've had (and I hate pancakes).
Bright: How do you warm up the frozen pancakes? In the oven?
Any pancakes other than the ones from scratch are like blasphemy in my family. My dad has a wicked recipe. It was a *big* deal when I passed it on to my husband.

bisquick doesn't have HFCS in it (not the box stuff)... but it does have partially hydrogenated soybean or cottonseed oil. which , hello saturated fat. but if you use margarine or anything other than true butter, that's what you're most likely eating anyway.
I use bisquick most of the time. I make from scratch on occasion , usually b/c I've ran out of bisquick.

Just in the microwave. DD doesn't seem to care. I bet the banana would be good, but I'm deathly allergic.
