Reflux?

I think DD is developing reflux.  She has started screaming when we put her on her back, she arches her back, throws her head to a side and gags, then pukes out her nose.  I've had a peds nurse and another NICU nurse both tell me they think that's what's going on.  What was your experience with reflux?  We have her one month appt on Monday but I'm going to call tomorrow and see if we can get in sooner.

Both of my twins had reflux.  DS was the vomit/spit up king, but never cried.  DD very rarely spit up, but would drink, burp, scream/cry and refuse to drink more.  They were both on prevacid and zantac.  DD was off meds by 13.5 mo old.  DS was off meds by 15.5 mo.  They saw a pedi GI dr because our reg dr didn't feel comfortable prescribing the amount of meds they needed.  Good luck and I hope you both find some relief soon!
