Labor Buddy

Hi ladies!  I can not get on during the day so I missed all the labor buddy pairing.  Also, not quite sure what a labor buddy is, but sounds fun, like a partner in crime.  Also my Bump is is being funny and giving me error messages when I try to read previous posts.

I am 26, will be 27 next month and DH is 39.  I am an elementary special education teacher and DH was a police officer, but had to take a desk job recently due to health issues.  He have two fur babies Bear (dog) and Dale (cat) who we consider our children already.  We love to take vacations, especially those that involve a beach!  We live in a suburb outside of Chicago.  This LO will be our first and a bit of a miracle in itself.  We were told due to about 15 days before I received my BFP DH's health issues and medication he is on, we probably wouldn't be able to conceive.  After a year of trying we could get a referral to an RE, but would not do an testing until the year mark.  Well our first cycle charting, 8th cycle of trying, we got our BFP and cautiously but excitedly expecting our first!

A little about me...

I am 27, will be 28 a couple of weeks after LO is born. I was married to my DH on 9/6/2008 and live in north eastern MA. I am an insurance rep for Liberty Mutual working with auto, home and life products. We have 1 fur baby, her name is Bobby and she is a mutt that showed up at our door about 6 years ago- we fell in love with her and adopted her as soon as we could! This will be our first baby and was a bit of a surprise. We weren't trying, but not really preventing either. We are both over the moon about the pregnancy though and are so excited!
