I haven't questioned the dr yet as i'm going on the 11th but from all i have read this doesn't usually take place until over 25 wks in most cases??
Did anyone have this done this early and then have it done again later in the pregnancy? I thought maybe it was different for multiples? I'll def will asking my Peri on the 10th as well cuz this just doesn't sound right to me. Doesn't it usually show later in the pregnancy if you are going to get GD?
Thanks!!
Re: 1hr Glucose test at 16wks?
I had 2 OB's early on and one wanted me to do it at 15 weeks and the other said I could wait. They wanted it because of my age, ivf and mulitples made me high risk - not for GD - just high risk. I didn't do it but ended up failing my 1hr at 26 weeks so bad that I didn't even do a 3hour.
GL - I would say it is worth doing if they recommend it.

I had my first one 2 weeks ago at 19 weeks. The Dr. said it was because it's twins and not a singleton. I will have another one at 28 weeks. Normal time frame is 24-28 weeks. I would say it's fine.
