If you are or have been on prozac...a question for you

what time of day do you take it and what is your dosage.  Did you have any side affects?

I think I took it in the morning. Hated it! Made me feel all jittery.

it was 10 or 20, whatever the lowest dose is, I don't remember.

I took it at night b/c it made me tired as all hell.  I was pretty zoned out.  I couldn't cry.  Couldn't feel much emotionally.

I weaned off about a month after I was done nursing DS  (it was for PPD).  Now I'm on paxil and it's soooooooooooooo much better, my pms is so much better, I feel like I'm suddenly awake again.

I think I took it in the evenings??? I could be wrong.  it was low dose. 10mg. during my 2nd pg and after for about 2 months.  I had severe pree with #1,  with#2 started having symptoms similar to the 1st early on... but no b/p issues... so they assumed it was anxiety.  I felt great...  still saw stars.  ended up with pree again later in pg.  ?

I took 10mg in the morning. I loved it! I felt great, and the only side effect was that I lost 35 lbs in about 3 months. (not complaining! lol)

Kori they are pretty sure its PMDD so I'm on 10mg for the last 2 weeks of my cycle ....gonna do that for 3 months to see how things go

I took it in the evening initially because I found it sedating. I then switched it to during the day. It helped my anxiety however, it made me hungry all the time and squashed my libido, so I went off it. I gained 5lbs on it in a matter of a couple months.
