Truthfully, it's less the cost of travel than it is the emotional impact of being in NYC on 9/11 for a memorial for Christina. It took me 8 years to go to NYC at all.
I know. It's easier when you are here all the time. You get used to the reminders. It's probably way easier to avoid when you don't have something starting you in the face at every turn.
I'm also not entirely sure it's something I could do on my own. And the one friend that I still have who also knew Christina isn't going to be able to come since it's in NY this year instead of Ann Arbor (that's where we all met).
So, it's a big decision. But I surely would love to come soley for the purpose of seeing you (and shopping).

But again - that's a HUGE "if". Our travel budget is very, very small and we're trying to save it for a vacation of some sort. LOL.
