He is overjoyed, but really has no idea what he is in for.  I hope and pray that the transition from a one child family to a two child family is smooth and painless for all.  Please keep us in your T&P.  Now that it is finally here, I am apprehensive about the c/s surgery, baby's health and DS's feelings about all of this.

Good Luck!  Everything will fall into place.  Make sure to carve out some time for just Momma and Big Brother - it will be magic in this whole transition.

My repeat c/s was a great experience. If they will let you stay an extra night-- do it. I stayed that 4th night, and it was wonderful. The nurses basically left us alone, and it was like being in a hotel with my new baby. Don't rush home. It was a wonderful bonding time with DD, and it got crazy once we were home.

You can make special time with #1 once you get home.

Good Luck and Congratulations!  I had 2 csections too and the repeat one was a piece of cake as far as delivery and recovery.
