Alice w/a rhymey last name?

I love the name Alice, but am afraid that we may need to take it off of my 'list' because our last name ends in the same sound that Alice ends it.

 Would you nix Alice? (Think Alice Paris)

 (This reminds me of Julia Goolia-- from The Wedding Singer, ha ha)

Depends on how rhymey it is.  If it is like Julia Goolia, then that is bad .  If it just has the same last syllable, I think you could get away with it if it is a name you love. Doesn't flow perfectly, but if you love the name, the who cares?  She may change her last name at some point anyhow.

Sorry, but it doesn't sound good. I'd take it off the list. Alice is my mom's middle name and she hates it, but I think it's a very pretty name.

I love the name Alice but it sounds weird with our LN too so we found other beautiful names for our girls. I say keep looking
