We gave LO paci at 2 weeks and he has not had any issues keeping it in.
I am using the same ones that my SIL swore by with my niece and nephew and they are wonderful, havent tried anything else.
We use the Gerber NaturalFlex pacifiers... They look like they have a HUGE nipple but they work great. Everyone I know who has used them has had no issues with loosing the paci's

just wait till they can grab it and put it in their mouth themselves. it was a beautiful day with DS1!
