Is this okay re: how I am storing frozen milk??

I freeze the milk in Lansingoh bags and date them.  We have a deep freezer out in the garage that I put the bags in. I'd been outting them towards the top of freezer and read that wasn't the best though so I took plastic freezer bags and grouped the lansingoh baga by month and moved the freezer bags lower into the freezer where its the coldest... This sound okay?? Any reason why not?

sounds fine to me. The freezer door is not recommended based on the frequent open/closing. I think you're fine in the deep freeze.

As for storing the milk in order of when it was pumped - oldest to newest, I've followed the techniques from this video. It's been helpful so far, for keeping the freezer organized.

Oh crud.  I didn't even think about this and my frozen stash is in the door of our regular freezer.
