My DD received it as a gift. The insert came today and it's a 47'' square. Online it states:
- Regular Beanbag: approximately 31" diameter when
fluffed
The cover has not arrived, so, I have no idea if this giant square insert fits in it. I called PBK...the 1st gal I spoke with told me my dd would grow into it. The 2nd gal thinks they shipped us an anywhere chair insert by mistake(which is clearly not the case). This insert is made of loose styrofoam beads, so, I don't think she is familiar with either product. If you have the regular-sized bean bag...is the insert you have a 47'' square?
Re: If you have the pottery barn kids bean bag...
I don't know the exact dimensions, but I can attest to the fact that the insert was not round like I had anticipated and the loose styrofoam beads were packed in there pretty tight. It took some work to shove it in the cover. Then I had to step on it and shove my butt in it a few times to even it all out. After a few weeks of use it was pretty worn in.
Also, the Anywhere chair inserts are foam so like you said it cannot be that they shipped you that by accident. You would definitely know. It sounds like you have the right thing. When I first opened the box I thought there was no way it would fit in the cover, but it did! Good luck!
