Poor dd had the longest night ever.

I think she has allergies, dh thinks she's sick...but that's beside the point.  She was up ever 30 minutes from 9:30 to 2:00 whining "I don't feel better yet, Mommy".  At 2:00 she wanted to go sleep in our bed with her daddy, so i stayed in her bed.  At 4:00 I hear dh scream "Maddie are you OK?" because she fell out of bed (she had never done that, but was tossing so much last night) and whacked her head on the night stand on the way down.  Big old egg on her forehead.  No sleep for mommy and daddy. 

And somehow, my ss sleeps through all of it.  Lucky, lucky boy.

=( Poor girl!! Allergies are freaking terrible this year! Ava and I look like we got into a fist fight with each other. Our eyes are so red and swollen and we just sneeze, and sneeze and sneeze!

Gah, that sounds like a  horrid night! I hope she feel sbetter soon and you ALL get some rest!

How is your ss doing? Any word from his mum lately?

He's doing good.  It took him a couple of attempts at trouble making in school to realize things were much different at our house.  1-We always find out about what he did, 2-when he lies we actually do a little research to figure that out and 3-unlike his mom we are not just going to yell and forget about it.  There are consequences AND we are going to do what we can to help him through things, which is a very novel cencept to him.  He seems to feel more secure now.

He has not heard from his mom in 7 weeks, 2 days...not that I am keeping track or anything.  And I know she hasn't even tried because I check the cell phone records and we have caller id at home.

I am so thrilled he is finally peacful at home with you guys! It's gotta be hard to be a SM with a absent BM. I hope for your ss sake she come to and plugs in with him!
