For those who

Take Fenugreek or drink Mother's Milk Tea...did you get horrible heart burn? Because since I started drinking the Mother's Milk Tea...man oh man...my chest, shoulders, down my back...Tums and Pepcid just suck. I'm wondering could this be from the tea?

You know, I admit the taste is bitter. BUT, I use a little honey to sweeten it and honestly it reminds me of black licorice.

Alright that seals the deal. Not for me. Dang. I wanted to take that too.

If I find out it's causing my heart burn I may make the switch the the Fenugreek. I've heard the worst thing is making you smell like maple syrup.

I am taking both Fenugreek and Milk Thistle pills. I was on the fence about the tea since i am not a tea drinker. Pill popping doen't bother me but tea does. BTW _ I saw a BIG difference in under 48 hours with the amount of milk I produced.

  • Today from both sides I covered the bottom of the bottle. Before I couldn't even do that much. I'm hoping it's the start of a big difference.

I'm using a manual pump right now (Medela Harmony) but I also have an electric (it's an Evenflo that was a gift but it didn't seem to work right) I'm wondering if I did try the electric I'd get more?

I was using the First Years MiPump and I was getting 2 ounces total at each pumping. I switched to the Ameda Purely Yours and more than doubles that amount. From what I have read the electric pumps work better than the manual pumps at extracting milk. Doesn't hurt to try it out.
