Woombie = FAIL

Now, it may be because I bought the larger size, DS was either 2 - 4 pounds away from the next size up, so I bought the larger one.

Well, we put him in it and man did he hate it. Screamed like we were trying to rip his limbs off. The problem was that he had enough room to move his arms near his face, but not get all the way up to his ears. That p1ssed him off big time.

It was kinda funny to watch him try to get outta the woombie. He was using every muscle in his little body. It was funny until he reached a fever pitch and made noises only dogs could hear. 

We does fine with the Swaddle Me and with the Halo Sleep Sack that allows you to swaddle.

We will try the woombie again when he is a little bigger and see if he likes it any better. Man I hope so.

yikes!  We've been using the woombie for a week now and it's been GREAT!  But from newborn until about 2.5-3 months, she was good with those muslin blankets.  She just eventually got too strong and broke out of it even if I did it SUPER tight.

We use Halo sleepsack swaddles every night, and I say stick with what works!  I have no intention of switching brands.

i agree with pp about using what works but since you already bought it, yes wait until he is bigger. the whole idea of these things is to be tight, like in the womb.
