I am getting pretty burned out on Chipmunks and Princess and the Frog. Not to mention, M is starting to memorize the words. I think my nex purchase will be Toy Story.
Yes, I let her watch a movie once a day! Get over it. ; )
Maybe take 1 or 2 for a test drive via "on demand" or check them out from the library before taking the plunge?
It's weird how mine are obsessed with some but not too interested with others.
They also like Madagascar but be warned that your toddler may be singing "All Girls all over the world move your bodies. And when you move your bodies do it nice and slow and SASSY" in the grocery store to fully humiliate you. (They can't get enough of "You've got to move it, move it" from that movie)
Not my idea of appropriate children's entertainment but then again Disney has some pretty horrid stuff in some of their films.
Speaking of... what about Nemo? Or Little Mermaid?
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
And the bonus is that I love them, too, and am happy watching them over and over. She also likes Looney Tunes cartoons when we don't have time for a whole movie. I've tried introducing movies like Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. She loves the musical numbers but gets bored in between.
She no longer naps at home, so we do movie time so that she gets some "down time" over the weekend.
Heather Margaret --- Feb '07 and Todd Eldon --- April '09
For the past month it's been the Curious George movie and Curious George 2. (The first one is so freaking cute! I love that monkey.)
For the past week it's been the Chipmunks...so I feel your pain. Then I made the mistake of letting him check out the CD at the library so we could listen to it in the car. What was I thinking?!?!
I'm like Bright - I've only let Olivia watch 2 movies, and only in the car for our 5 hours drive. She liked Finding Nemo and we watched Lion King 1.5. She did not like Ice Age and I had to stop it midway through because she kept crying every time the little baby left the screen.
Re: What's your LOs favorite movie?
CARS.
With Wall-E a close second.
Do you have netflix?

I'm mean and the only movie she's seen was in the theater.
Buuuuuut, my bro/sis loved Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins. Toy Story is a good one, too.
Toy Story 1 and 2
Finding Nemo
Wall-E

A few months ago it was Toy Story 1 & 2.

Nemo
Curious George (the movie)
Cars
But I want to get A Bug's Life - I think she'd like that!
Tim likes Toy Story 2 better than 1 because the "scary dog" as he calls it is not in the second one.
He also loves: Cars, Monsters VS Aliens, TinkerBell (believe it or not), and just about any other Disney movie.
And we also watch a movie once a day....he doesn't nap so this is our relaxation time!
C watches a movie a day, I don't see a problem with it!
Her current favourites are:
Up, Toy Story (1 & 2), Beauty & the Beast, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Choo-Choo Express, Handy Manny Motorcycle Adventure, Abby (Cadabby) in Wonderland.
She also likes a lot of the TV on DVD discs we have for her. Sesame Street (old school and the new Elmo ones), Yo Gabba, Thomas, etc.
