The down side of them learning how to sound out words.

Tonight I spelled S - H -  I -  T   to DH in front of the kids.

 Jace:  "S - H - I - T........     HIT!"

DH:  "That's right Jace!  H - I - T spells HIT!"

(nice save DH!)

Guess I'm now done with all cursing... even the spelled out kind.

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

And it worse when you have a child in speech therapy and everything is all about sounding everything out very carefully.  I so need to watch everything I say.  I swear, my older DD figures out half of what I spell to DH.  I once asked him by spelling everything something about the kids baths and older DD looked at me and said "I want to shower tonight Mommy, not a bath".

I was going to say the same thing, but I'd recommend German-everything sounds like a swear word in German.
