Fisher Price rock n play sleeper

I am thinking of buying for ds. He will not sleep in pnp at night anymore (he spits up on his back-loves laying on stomach but im not taking that chance) and sleeps in bouncy seat for short periods of time. I am worried that this may make the transition to crib harder but I am really looking for some sleep at night. Anybody use this and transitioned to crib easily? Thanks!

  • Have you tried elevating his PnP at all? This might solve your problem without worrying about buying something else. :)

We elevated Jack's by about an inch and a half. It worked wonders.

  • Using it now, have not transitioned to the crib yet, but the solid 3 hour blocks of sleep at night are SO worth it that I am just taking the approach that I will deal with it later!

This thing is a GODSEND for us!  First two nights home, DS would NOT sleep a wink in his bassinet.  Now we're getting 2-3 hours stretches every since sending DH out to the nearest BRU to purchase the thing!  It's incredible!  I have no experience with crib transitioning, but I figure we'll cross that bridge when we get there...
  • Buy it. Chase slept from 11-4:30a Saturday night and from 10-4:45a (last night!

Love Love Love!! Was the best thing we bought. LO is actually sleeping for 3 hours at a time. Sooo worth it. She does sleep in her crib at times during the day with no issues.
