Very not good weekend.

I swear drama and bs follows me everywhere. I think I've got a black cloud.

Re-cap: Friday waited all day to hear back about car loan, finally at six I get a call and they say I will know something for sure on Saturday. 5pm Saturday I am told, no decision yet...short staffed and we will know something on Monday. (But I am not so hopeful and it sounds like they are going to want waaaayyy too much money down.)

My current car has decided to over heat and continue to leak anit-freeze, like waaaayyyy to much. Oh and did I mention its 90 degrees outside and the a/c is broke too?

Now it gets even better...our landlord (private landlord...not a company or anything) just called and said "Do you plan on paying half the rent this weekend?" Well sad to say I have no extra cash to to that, and I had even asked about this at the beginning of the month because of the pay periods. (We pay "bi-weekly" when I get paid, this month had 3 pay periods, so I asked should I divide it accordingly. Or just pay the first to pay periods.) So basically my rent is already paid in full and now they want more. I can understand that money is tight for everyone but I cannot spare the extra cash right now.

It gets better though, I went to send a text to my mom about being aggravated and oops sent it to the landlord. GULP! I did quickly resend it and try to explain what was going on with the car and saying that's why I am aggravated, but I got no response.

FML.

Oh and it gets better.

Internet and cable are included in our rent...but the internet wasn't working. I had to go and get my own because they didn't have time to take care of it. AND the a/c doesn't work. DH has been trying to fix it at cost, but he still needs more parts.

I really am grateful for the roof over my head and the deal we got on the place, but this just got to me today. And I work with the landlords daughther.

By the way, car loans are no fun. It took me 3 months for the dealership to find a loan for my car!!

I'm sorry- sounds like a rough weekend to say the least. 

I hope you get your car loan and don't have to but a ton of $ down, and I hope your A/C gets fixed.  Can you have the landlord fix it, isn't that his responsibility?  Or reimburse you for what you pay to fix it?

Same with your internet if it's not working and you paid on your own- can he deduct that from this month's rent?

I hope this is the end of your bad luck and your week gets better!
