How often do you pump?

How much do you get at each pump?

I am getting about 4-5 ounces at each pump. I pump every 3 hours during the day and every 5-6 at night.

I have not increased in my amount of ounces and I wonder if I will be able to keep up when LO starts eating more. He's comfortably eating 5 ounces a sitting now.  At this rate I cannot add to freezer stash at all anymore.

I imagine he'll want to start eating more pretty soon. He's in the 95th percentile for weight. Wink

How often do you pump? every 5 to 6 hours

How much do you get at each pump?  10-14 ounces

i brought my supply in with a hospital pump... it is nuts... you might try some skin to skin cuddling and a weekend of more frequent pumping when ready for an increase....

I pump about 5-6 times a day, and I get about 8-10 oz.

I heard about fenugreek and mothers milk tea to increase the supply though I've never tried it. Also, to increase your supply, you should try to pump an additional 5 minutes after your milk stop leaking. It signals to your body to make more milk.

How often do you pump?  3 times a day(morning, afternoon and before bed).  Up until DD was about 2 months old I was pumping 4 times a day.

How much do you get at each pump?  Morning: about 20oz; afternoon: 16oz; before bed: 14oz.

This is my second time EP'ing.  This time around has been easier in a lot of ways but mostly because I already knew what I was doing.  One way though is that I had a great supply right off the bat.  With DS I didn't do anything special to increase my supply but as time went by it went up on it's own.  Not by a lot but enough to get about a months worth of a freezer stash.

It does get easier as time goes on.  Good luck and if you have any questions you can PM at any time.

How often do you pump?  I usually pump 5 times a day.

How much do you get at each pump? My morning pump is usually 14-15 oz then my remaining pumps average at about 10 oz per pump.

I have found that drinking plenty of fluids, getting more sleep at night (DS is now sleeping 5 hours at night) and eating when I'm hungry has kept my supply up. DS usually eats between 4-5 oz at a feeding, I can usually put 15 oz in my freezer stash each day.

Wow most of these ladies are getting way more then I am.

I pump about every 3 hours and get between 5-8oz at a time. I am currently trying to increase my supply because I think LO is going to be upping that amount at each feeding. She is drink 4oz every 3 hours but last evening she could only go 2 hours between. But she is sleeping longer periods through the night.

So to help increase my supply I am drinking Mothers Milk Tea 3x a day and 2 packets of oatmeal in the morning. Hope it works for me.

Wow I'm only getting 2.5-3.5 ounces combined each time!  I pump every 3 hours and pump the extra 5 minutes.  After speaking with a LC, I also take fenugreek, drink the Mother's Milk tea, and eat oatmeal every morning.  I can't believe how much you guys get!  I guess I shouldn't feel too guilty if I decide to switch to formula (something I do NOT want to do, but have been considering).
