Need a brilliant, though easy birthday dinner idea :)

To go with the mac and cheese the four-year-old birthday boy requested :)

6-10 people (family) - want something easy and DH already vetoed hamburgers on the grill (grrr...)

Thoughts?

    Ham Steak is all I can think of in my allergy drug induce stupor.

    chicken nuggets, hot dogs, ummm, that's all I can think of that my almost 4 year old requests with his mac and cheese!  What about pulled pork?

    Barbeque-make it in the crock pot so it is super easy. Pork, chicken-whatever.

    I love doing marinated kabobs.....they ago with almost anything and always look so colorful with the veggies when served.  You can do chicken or steak or a combo.
