Scratch, Scratch...(dry skin)

All nite my dd has been scratching...No flare ups from execma-  I think just really dry skin....I admit that I havent been faithful when putting on cream......What should I be using that is powerful??  Hydrocortzone??  Thx

I wouldn't use hydrocortizone unless there was eczema. I'd just keep her skin slathered with aquaphor.

Aquaphor or Aveeno and a humidifier in her room

Aveeno oatmeal bath and aquafor. I agree to only use hydracortizone when there is a flare and then only sparingly. Prevention is key.

Curel!   I have HORRIBLE eczema.  HORRIBLE-- like crack and bleed.   

My dermatologist says curel and auquaphor.

Oh.  And cetaphil soap.  It is a must!

Not sure about what cream to use, but she might benefit from Halo's line of clothing called technical comfort that is designed to help with eczema.  I've heard great things about it, and got one for my DS for the SPF 30 it has.
