Since our chat about art a couple weeks ago, I've been wanting to show you my favorite painting of all time...I have a print in my dining room.  You like?

I do! Who is that by? Normal, NMS, but it is very interesting.

I am so excited, next week I will be taking my wonderful class to the Art Institute.

I am so jealous!  We usually go to Europe every year and won't be going until next year (at the earliest) so I'm going through total art withdrawal!!

It's The Lament of Icarus by Herbert Draper (1898).  It was on display at the Tate in London.

Some of my students just went to the Tate over Spring Break. They were so excited to tell me about all the art they saw.

Do you have any good museums in Alberta?

Umm the dinosaur museum?  Lol!  Seriously, though, no.  Nothing that I'm interested in anyway.

Luckily, Chicago has about every type of museum you could imagine.

You mentioned that...I'm totally interested in going to Chicago because of that.  I'll put it on my list of places to visit!
