DH brings up a good point...

I bought DS the beginner sippy cup to try out some juice, well DH brought up "does that mean we can put his breastmilk or formula in the cup too?". Would it be way too early to start weaning him from bottle to the beginner cup? the top of it is very "nipple-like" so there are a lot of similarities.

thoughts? opinions?

We started doing one bottle of formula a day in a sippy at 9 months, but it wouldn't hurt to start it sooner.

My LO is breastfed and has always refused a bottle, he loves sippy cups so that's what we use!

You can put formula/BM in a sippy, and you can use water.

Juice... well, might want to research that one.  Most people recommend holding off since it's really too much empty sugar.

we did start giving him a little bit of water today, the only reason we are giving him a little bit of juice is because he gets very constipated. it'll definitely be watered down and only a little bit. the plan was to hold off on juice until he was 9-12 months, but the dr said it would help with his constipation.
